In 1974 we bought Action Recruitment because it had a couple of telephone lines. It may seem odd but at that time there was a waiting time of up to 12 months for a phone line. The Action Recruitment we bought handled mostly office jobs and the phone numbers had previously belonged to a matchmaker. This made for some entertaining phone calls in the early days.

Recruitment is not an exact science but it does require a lot of empathy and an eye to the benefits for both parties.
