Action Recruitment have an amazing opportunity for an experienced General Manager for a busy city centre hotel. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, passionate professional with previous experience of hotel operations in a luxury 4 or 5 star property.  Applicants must also have strong commercial acumen awareness.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Responsibility for all aspects of the hotel operation.
- Manage the productivity of the team to ensure best use of resource and delivery of service standards.
- Have strong control of the Profit & Loss, managing costs, and identifying opportunities for growth in revenue.
- Managing budgets, forecasts, and financial plans as well as cost control.
- Setting and achieving sales and profits targets and maintaining statistical and financial records.
- Analysing sales figures and developing marketing and revenue management strategies.
- Ensure guest satisfaction is at the forefront of every business decision.
- Motivate employees, ensuring effective training and development plan is in place.
- Willing to make good business decisions focusing on service, quality, and overall profitability of the hotel
- Knowledge of core legislation; employment law, taxation, environmental compliance etc.,
- Ensure compliance of all statutory regulations.
- Knowledge of the Northern Ireland market.
