Food & Beverage Manager - high end resort - Ref 769

Action Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join the team of our client, a luxurious hotel in leinster.  We are looking to speak to passionate professionals with experience in a similar role ideally. We will consider an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager with drive and ambition.

The ideal candidate will possess effective and efficient delegation, organisation and problem-solving skills. This role requires someone who is an excellent communicator and detail orientated.

You will report directly to the General Manager and will have an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager reporting to you.

Duties include the following:

• Set objectives and targets for Food & Beverage outlets and ensure that agreed targets are met, budgeted figures are achieved and that the department is managed in a profitable manner
• Management of the food & beverage department to ensure the staffing needs are met and that all policies and procedures in place are achieving the highest level of customer service at all times
• Continuous evaluation of the performance and improvement of the personnel in the food and beverage department
• Plan and implement a training and development program for all food & beverage personnel
• Efficient delegation of duties and tasks to ensure that objectives are met and that all resources are maximised
• Ensure that all customer complaints are resolved promptly
• Ensure that all procedures in relation to cash handling and stock control are in place and adhered to by all food & beverage personnel
• Liase with sales reps and suppliers to ensure that procurement of supplies is on the best terms available
• Keep abreast of current market trends and implement improvements for products and/or services

 Salary €50-55K
