Action Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Pastry Chef for our client, a luxurious 5-star Hotel in London. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as Executive or Senior Sous Pastry Chef in a 4 or 5-star Hotel or fine dining property.  We are looking for a talented pastry Chef with flair and creativity, possessing the knowledge and ability to lead the pastry team in this beautiful Hotel.

As Executive Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for: -

  • Consistently offering professional, friendly, and proactive guest service while supporting fellow colleagues
  • Lead and manage the quality/quantity of the Pastry department, as well as coordinate the production to consistently deliver superior cuisine
  • Create and prepare desserts in accordance with the existent menus and develop new dessert, pastry, and bread products
  • Maintain payroll costs and productivity within budgeted guidelines
  • Balance operational, administrative and guest needs
  • Follow Hotel policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Organize the kitchen staff and supervise while working
  • Train the kitchen staff to meet imposed standards
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
  • Ensure that the kitchen equipment is in good condition and meets all requirements
  • Implement HACCP and safety standards in the hotel
  • Other duties as assigned
