Description
Action Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Pastry Chef for our client, a luxurious 5-star Hotel in London. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as Executive or Senior Sous Pastry Chef in a 4 or 5-star Hotel or fine dining property. We are looking for a talented pastry Chef with flair and creativity, possessing the knowledge and ability to lead the pastry team in this beautiful Hotel.
As Executive Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for: -
- Consistently offering professional, friendly, and proactive guest service while supporting fellow colleagues
- Lead and manage the quality/quantity of the Pastry department, as well as coordinate the production to consistently deliver superior cuisine
- Create and prepare desserts in accordance with the existent menus and develop new dessert, pastry, and bread products
- Maintain payroll costs and productivity within budgeted guidelines
- Balance operational, administrative and guest needs
- Follow Hotel policies, procedures, and service standards
- Organize the kitchen staff and supervise while working
- Train the kitchen staff to meet imposed standards
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Ensure that the kitchen equipment is in good condition and meets all requirements
- Implement HACCP and safety standards in the hotel
- Other duties as assigned
