Director of Sales - Luxury Galway Hotel - Ref 830

This is a senior proactive sales role which reports to the hotel’s General Manager and the Group Director of Sales and Marketing.
The Director will be responsible for International and Domestic MICE business and Luxury Leisure programmes. The purpose of the role will be to develop and maintain the hotel's account base within international markets, while also successfully managing the hotel’s relationships with our key business partners. The Director will be tasked with generating new MICE and Luxury Leisure business from national and international markets, with a key focus on the US market.
The ideal candidate will have a proven sales background within a similar 5-star hotel environment and relevant experience in international sales. You should also have strong written and oral English communication and presentation skills.
A proven track record in exceeding goals and targets along with the ability to sell and close effectively is also required.
Salary - €50,000 to €60,000 per annum + 10% bonus.
