Deputy Manager, Kerry - Ref 845

Action Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to join the team of our client, a 5-star property in Munster. The ideal candidate must have Deputy/Operations Management experience in a 4 or 5-star background, and strong F&B experience. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong financial knowledge, excellent communication and organisational skills.

Duties include but are not limited to: -

• To assist the General Manager in developing strategic plans and the implementation of same
• Drive sales and maintain a high level of standards throughout the various hotel departments
• To research, develop and implement standards of operations for the property
• To manage the hotel in the absence of the General Manager
• To use their F&B experience and knowledge to build and strengthen the Food and Beverage Department of the Hotel
• To be responsible for the day to day queries, complaints or problems that arise in the hotel and the resolution of same
• To assist HR in developing and implementing a training program for all departments
• Manage the productivity of the HOD’s to ensure best use of resource and delivery of service standards
• To drive and implement the company standards program in relation to excellent service, hotel presentation and customer service
• To ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental procedures
• To ensure staffing levels are maintained and managed in order to achieve optimal sales levels while also ensuring that operational costs are minimised

 Salary €50-€55k
