Senior Sales Manager, Dublin - Ref 888

Action Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Sales Manager to join the team of our client, a five-star hotel in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Sales Management role from a similar background.

Duties include but are not limited to: -

• Develop a sales strategy to achieve organisational sales and revenue goals
• Set individual sales targets and create a sales action plan for each member of the sales team
• Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team and evaluate team performance on an ongoing basis, with assistance from sales department management
• Assist with the development of sales presentations and proposals
• Liaise with other departments to ensure achievement of all sales objectives
• Coordinate and monitor online and offline sales activity then track, collate and interpret sales figures
• Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue and generate monthly sales reports
• Develop pricing schedules and rates and formulate sales policies and procedures
• Assist with the preparation and monitoring of budgets to ensure expenses are controlled within the sales department
• Conduct market research and competitor/customer analysis
• Analyse data to identify sales opportunities
• Attend trade shows, meetings and industry conventions when required
• Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with executive decision makers in key accounts
• Ensure you remain up to date with products/services sold by the company’s’ competitors
• Assist with staff appraisals and staff training within the sales department
